Access - Troubleshooting and Designing Databases

PowerPoint 2007 has a new look with the addition of the Ribbon. This course helps you upgrade your skills from PowerPoint 2003 and shows you timesaving tips to help you make sense of the Ribbon. You learn to apply new design themes, find favourite settings and menu items, and use new effects for text including soft shadows and WordArt. You also customize the Quick Access Toolbar, discover Smart Art, import outlines from Word and turn them into effective slide presentations with animation, sounds, narration and special effects.

If you have just upgraded your PC, this course introduces you to Microsoft’s latest operating system. Find your favourite old Windows features and discover new ones. Explore the new user interface, instant search and sync centre, and Office 2007 updates, including the Ribbon and new menu, charting engine and Microsoft Live.

Word 2007/2010 QuickStart

If you are an experienced user of earlier versions of Microsoft Word, then making the initial transition to Word 2007/2010 is easy, until you try to do familiar things like formatting and extensive editing. In this course you uncover the mysteries of the new fluent user interface (the Ribbon) to help you do what you have always done like create and edit text, format with styles and outlines, check grammar and spelling. You also explore new ways to be productive with shapes, smart art, quick parts, references and more.
Note: Prior experience with Word 2007 or earlier would be an asset.
